We will need it for the stocking

• 0.5 m of plain cotton fabric
• 0.5 m of patterned cotton
• 0.30 m of adhesive backing
• 1 piece of sewing thread in the color of the fabric

How to sew a Christmas stocking

• We cut out the necessary parts from patterned and solid-colored fabric and add 0.5 cm for the seams. The color combination is completely up to you.
• We glue the upper part of the stocking with adhesive so that it holds its shape better.
• Bend the heel and toe of the stocking by 0.5 cm , place it on top of the stocking according to the cut and sew decoratively on the edge.
• Place the facing sides of both parts of the stocking on top of each other and sew. At the inner part of the stocking, we leave a small unsewn hole for turning.
• Place both layers of stockings face to face and sew together in the upper part. Then we turn the left opening of the stocking, straighten it and sew the opening.
• In the upper part, we can sew it decoratively.
• If we want to hang the stocking, we must not forget to sew a loop in the upper seam.
