Simple instructions on how to sew Christmas ornaments

Advent is fast approaching and with it comes one of the most beautiful times of the year. It's time to pull out the Christmas decorations and do a thorough overhaul. Don't be afraid to say goodbye to a few pieces and exchange them for new ones. And what's better than decorations that you make yourself? You can sew, for example, hearts, stars, trees or Christmas stockings.

Let's sew them together! It's not difficult and we have it done in one afternoon. Involve the children as well, who will have fun and shorten their wait for Santa.

For Christmas decorations we will need:

• 0.30 m of Christmas fabric
• 0.30 m of adhesive reinforcement
• 1 pc of sewing thread
• 1 m of ribbon
• cut for ornaments

How to sew Christmas ornaments:

• On the back of the Christmas fabric, use an iron to apply adhesive tape and outline the shapes of the ornaments and cut them out. The templates already have a seam allowance.
• We cut 10 cm of ribbon, fold it in half and pin it to the place where we want the loop. This will ensure that the decoration can be hung.
• Place two identical parts face to face on top of each other and sew . We leave a small opening for turning.
• Cut the remaining fabric into small pieces and use them as a filling. We turn the ornaments inside out , fill them with cut pieces of fabric and sew the opening in the hand.

For decorations, you can use a lot of small pieces, which every seamstress has boxes full of. So don't hesitate and start a Christmas craft that everyone can handle and make the upcoming hectic season more enjoyable.
